Vintage 7-Band Equalizer with Proportional Q Curves
The MQ-1 is a single-channel, parametric 7-band equalizer inspired by the legendary "Motown EQ." Its proportional Q curves are reminiscent of the iconic equalizers used in the famous Detroit studios of the 1960s. This fully analog EQ features seven bell curves, each offering a seamless ±10 dB boost or cut, precisely tuned to the wonderfully musical frequencies of the original. But that's not all. The MQ-1 also includes the popular "CRUSH" function from the Drawmer 1971. This circuit adds pleasant harmonic saturation and classic analog warmth, giving your audio signal extra character. The result? CRUSH fattens the lows, enhances midrange presence, and adds a smooth, shimmering high end. The harder you drive the EQ, the more character the signal gains. Designed and built in England, this equalizer delivers the classic warm analog sound you've been searching for.
